GlobalPharmD is for all pharmacy professionals, including pharmacists, academics, residents, and students, as well as individuals practicing in the pharmaceutical industry and other pharmacy-related professional fields.

GlobalPharmD is free for pharmacy professionals to join for viewing limited content, while premium networking and communications features require a low-cost annual subscription. Because we respect your privacy and have committed to offering a premium experience without advertising, this small amount from you keeps the site operating and free of distractions. It also allows us to offer many complimentary memberships for students and those less fortunate. Please see our Donations page if you would like to make a donation. 

GlobalPharmD does not require license verification to sign up at this time, as this would place geographic limitations on who is able to join; however, if you join the site, we expect that you are in the pharmacy profession.

GlobalPharmD was built by forward-thinking pharmacists partnering with cutting-edge web developers. The creator and primary moderator of the site has been a practicing pharmacist in the metropolitan area of Denver, CO USA since 2011. 

GlobalPharmD is an independent entity and is not owned by or affiliated with other pharmacy organizations or companies. We encourage participation in your local and national pharmacy organizations, and membership packages for pharmacy schools, organizations, and small businesses.

If you’re not satisfied with GlobalPharmD, you can cancel your membership in a matter of clicks. We would appreciate feedback before you go, and if requested, we can send a copy of all your data before deletion.

Protecting your information, documents, and data is a top priority. GlobalPharmD uses multiple methods to ensure security throughout the site. And unlike most larger networking sites, we do not use your personal information or data for marketing purposes, and we do not sell your data to third parties. GlobalPharmD does not currently offer a mobile application, but one is in the works! However, the site is is designed to be 100% compatible with mobile devices and should work great on your phone or tablet. Some pages may be better viewed holding your phone horizontally.

Countries around the world offer education for and/or require different types of degrees, licensing, and certifications to practice pharmacy. Being based in the United States, the PharmD is the degree that we are most familiar with. Profile fields are offered to highlight many pharmacy-related and other degrees, but if you don’t see your degree(s), please let us know!
